Clement says government won’t accept CRTC’s current Internet billing stance.

Thanks for not messing with my internets!

Federal government to look into usage-based Internet pricing.

This idea could change the internet as we now know it. I am not particularly fond of this idea, but I do comprehend the intent.

Sneezing bullets

After getting shot in the head I suppose sneezing out the bullet would be the least of your worries.

Discharging firearms, even as a form of celebration, is a dangerous activity requiring people to exercise good judgement.

Astounding!

The fact that any amount of poison in food is legal is criminal. Feeding farm animals anything other than what the would normally eat should be a serious concern.

I should also mention that I don’t care how much it costs to raise a pig, cow, or chicken because I don’t really eat them regulalrly. Food should provide nourishment without polluting the body of the consumer.

I found this interesting

After you check out the link to the article take a moment to reflect. Then ask this question…If the hacker knew that his work could potentially have a damaging impact on the PS3, why did he publish it on his blog? If he doesn’t want his technique to aid piracy why was it published for all to read? I don’t see the logic.

If a person has done something that could be potentially harmful, why would they tell everyone? This fellow said, “I hate that it enables piracy.” You sir are the enabler! The ability you have to manipulate electronics is astounding, but if you know it would enable piracy why would you publish it on a blog for all to see?

This is a tough issue because on one hand users should be able to make their own games if they choose. However, if making your own game includes the knowledge of pirating others it becomes a matter of ethics, right?

Hanging out in Indiana

December 30, 2010

For the past several days – well nearly a week – I’ve been visiting family in Fort Wayne, Muncie, and Louisville. Everything seems pretty much the same as it was when I moved to Vancouver in late July. Currently we are hanging out in Muncie awaiting the arrival of our new niece, who is due to make her arrival any day now. Hopefully we will get a chance to meet her before returning home next week.

This is a track from a friend’s record. I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to play a little frame drum.

The record is called The Ornithopter by Nathan Fox! The tune is called “Aerial Photography: Part 2”

You will be mesmerized by this record! It is truly one of kind. I love it!

I’ve recently decided that if I’m going to be a musician with a blog it is necessary to have a page for my own recordings. I hope you have as much fun listening to these tunes as I did making them.

I happened to come across this story in the Vancouver Sun. As I read the article I thought wow a person on a bicycle getting hit really sucks. It really does suck. I hope the cyclist was not injured too badly and makes a quick recovery.

About halfway down the page an eye witness to the accident said ” From what I saw the bike came off the sidewalk in front of the motorcycle”.

Riding your bike on the sidewalk is not cool especially if you plan to randomly transition to the street from time to time.

I wish all people safe travels no matter what the method of travel is chosen.
